ZSM-5 is an advanced molecular sieve that boasts unique and exceptional properties that are employed in a variety of processes and applications across a broad range of industries.
Thermostability: The ZSM-5 skeleton is ten-membered rings, and the basic unit is composed of eight five-membered rings, those five-membered rings has solid and stable structure. Therefore, ZSM-5 can withstand high temperatures of 1100°C and is one of the highest thermostability zeolites.
Tydrophobicity: ZSM-5 has a high silicon to aluminum ratio, its surface charge density is small. And water molecule is a highly polar molecule, so it is not easily adsorbed by ZSM-5, ZSM-5 is hydrophobic.
Acid Resistance: ZSM-5 is resistant to various acids except hydrofluoric acid.

Application
ZSM-5 molecular sieve is an excellent adsorbent and shape-selective catalyst, is widely used in petrochemicals, fine chemicals.
- Refinery: Aromatization, isomerization, alkylation, oil refining, diesel depressant, VOC removal etc.
- FCC: Propylene additive, selective catalysis;
- Methanol to gasoline, methanol to dimethyl ether, methanol to olefins, methanol to aromatics, catalyst carrier.
